Former cars sales manager, James Brown ‘feels good’ after driving up sales at Linden Homes’ Aspens development in Birtley, Gateshead.
James, 41 and from Newcastle, who joined Vistry in January last year, has since sold a house nearly every week, despite the challenges placed on the housing market as a result of Covid-19. He has exceeded his sales targets and is bucking the trend for the regional property market and is way outperforming nearby competitors’ sites.
After working in the motor trade for over 20 years, James was ready for a career change and with a passion for property, the position at Linden Homes seemed a perfect fit.
He said: “A sales negotiator role combines my two passions – property and selling. Much of the experience gained in the motor industry has been transferable to this role. I think my focus on customer service, attention to detail and the quality of the homes at the Aspens has helped me achieve sales success.”
James has built such a rapport with his customers, that many living at the Aspens are regular visitors to the sales office and have even recommended family and friends to the site!
